Dr. W,
You were not the only one in need of TLC this week. Beth is also under the weather. We are all burning the candles at both ends and the flame does reach the middle sometime. Take care each and everyone of you. You are on my mind and in my prayers. Fran

Chapt 2 Reading Log response:
This method will help me as I teach? As an example is a student comes to my class sleepy or hungry they will not be as apt to learn and retain what is being taught in class. Meet their needs then teach.

Modifications/adjustments needed to achieve student success would include
I have made adjustments to my teaching schedule to simply include snacks early in the day to help keep students more attentive.

One pro and one con regarding this method of instruction include
I feel this is the sensative part of being a teacher. Move a student
closer to the front so they can see. Give a snack to a child who never has one.
Teach with a heart.

Other ideas/opinions/epiphanies regarding this method
The only con with this style of teaching is a time constraint. I feel rushed and concerned about trying to meet the physical needs of students when I need to be teaching then I remember the words of Christ. If you give a cup of cold water to the least of these you have given it to me.
